Fishing the Wolf is a challenge for me because of its power of the water and difficulty of wading. It's very easy to fall down to the water because of many invisible boulders on the bottom of the water. And trout is hiding behind large boulders or in deep pools.
I've never caught trout here in Burnt Point Rapids before. But, somehow, I caught a 13-inch brown trout on a deep rapid water today. And I caught a couple of bass, crappie and chub on shallow riffles. When I moved to Big Sheen Rapids the 1st thunderstorm came.
I caught 12-inch brown at Big Sheen Rapids. After a while, the sky turned into dark again
and the 2nd thunderstorm came.
