Fishing adventure in Oregon - I stayed in the small town Madras in Oregon and fished the Deschutes for three days.
Wading on the Deschutes was tough and tricky for me and my fishing was slow.
But it was very good experience for me to fish very famous river in the West Coast.

In the early 1800's, The Deschutes River was known by French fur traders as the "Riviere des Chutes" - the "river of falls." Deep in the Cascade Mountains, the Deschutes River begins its 200-mile journey to the Colombia River. The trout in the Deschutes River are all native, wild rainbow trout, a variant of the redband strain. - Date: September 11 - 13, 2007
